Motorway

Today when I was driving to office I thought of this, that life is just like driving on a motorway. On a familiar motorway, you feel at ease and know where you should change lane and exit (or even sped over 120km/h!). On an unfamiliar one, you feel apprehensive and become really careful. Right? I thought this can be an analogy of my life. You see, Singapore life seems more suitable for me so I feel like I am on a familiar motorway where I can drive quickly and change lanes left and right and left and right. NZ life especially FPH life is not suitable for me so I feel like I’m in an unfamiliar motorway where I am forced to keep to the same lane even though it is jammed up, just so I will still at least inch forward (survive). It can be an analogy of your life too. In fact, I think NZ life is to my husband and I both an unfamiliar motorway, and worst of all, it is one with lots of traffic and big jams. After that thought, I feel again right about our decision: lets move back to drive in a familiar motorway which runs more smoothly for us. It must be right. We will be less tensed up. Hopefully then our ‘motorway’ will be one which we can drive at ease and don’t even need to look at the map anymore… :)
